RackBank setting up Rs 1,000 crore data centre in Kerala

RackBank Datacenters is setting up a data centre – with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore at the Infopark, Cherthala, in Kerala.
RackBank Datacenters team IndiaRackBank has committed an investment of Rs 1,000 crore in the data centre project over the next eight years in Infopark. Narendra Sen is the founder and director of RackBank DataCenters.

Anil Reddy, chairman of RackBank, and Hrishikesh Nair, chief executive officer of Infopark, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the presence of Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan and State Information Technology (IT) Secretary M Sivasankar.

RackBank also plans to set up a disaster recovery facility for companies in case of data threats due to natural disasters.
