OVH selects Nuage Networks Virtualized Services Platform

OVH has selected the Nuage Networks Virtualized Services Platform (VSP) to deploy within and across its datacenters in Europe and Canada to enable cloud services for their customers.

Nuage Networks is an Alcatel-Lucent venture.

The OVH Group, which has 17 datacenters, chose to implement the Nuage Networks VSP to deliver an OpenStack as a Service offering.

The OpenStack as a Service offering enables its customers to access dedicated Cloud Computing infrastructure by using OpenStack and Nuage Networks to define optimal resources and benefit from a better infrastructure-as-a-service(IaaS) environment.

“The Nuage Networks SDN technology allows us to offer our customers cloud services in a more dynamic way, giving them the capability to reduce their time-to-market with a programmable and automated networking environment,” said Octave Klaba, CEO and founder of OVH.

The Nuage Networks SDN solution provides network virtualization and automation that transforms OVH’s cloud datacenters into flexible environments that establish the network services required for a given application in accordance with established enterprise policies.
