Global IT infrastructure and services giant NTT has inaugurated its data centre campus in Noida, situated within Delhi NCR’s thriving data centre corridor.
The carrier-neutral campus, interconnected with NTT’s other data centre locations to minimize latency, provides direct access to public cloud providers, positioning it as a strategic hub for digital services.
Spanning an expansive six acres, the campus is designed to accommodate a planned capacity of 52.8 MW critical IT load across two data centres. NTT aims to meet the evolving demands of clients’ digital transformation initiatives with a focus on delivering reliable infrastructure.
The features of the campus include high levels of automation, ensuring continuous monitoring and optimization of facility performance, as well as efficient resource management for power and water. Notably, this data centre campus sets a precedent in the country as the first to incorporate seismic dampers, safeguarding uninterrupted operations even during significant seismic events.
Shekhar Sharma, CEO & MD of NTT GDC India & NTT Com India Network Services, emphasized the campus’s strategic significance in supporting India’s burgeoning digital economy.
This launch expands NTT’s Global Data Centers division’s footprint in India to more than 268 MW, boasting a total of 18 data centres strategically positioned across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru.
