NTT Com opens data center in Shanghai Pudong

NTT Communications will open its new data center in Shanghai Pudong, China, on 20 November.

The center is NTT Com’s third data center in Shanghai. The new facility will offer nearly 2,600 m2 of server room, equivalent to 1,000 racks.

Chinese data center market grew 20 percent the previous year.

NTT Com said the new data center is capable of total-service design, construction and operation for customers. The facility will offer total management of service quality and cost for stable, global-scale and integrated services.

The company will offer colocation and cloud services, such as its Enterprise Cloud.

Efficient operation will enable the facility to lower its costs by approximately 20 percent compared to other data centers in the Shanghai area.
