NTT Com invests $350 million in RagingWire Data Centers to buy 80% stake

Japanese enterprise IT vendor NTT Communications has invested $350 million in RagingWire Data Centers to acquire an 80 percent stake.

RagingWire’s founders and management team will continue to operate the company as a platform under the RagingWire brand and maintain a minority interest in the company.

The addition of RagingWire’s data center space to NTT Com’s portfolio more than doubles NTT Com’s data center space in the U.S.

NTT Com will also deploy RagingWire’s know-how and patented technologies for the design and operation of highly dependable, scalable and sophisticated data centers.
