Software giant Microsoft has unveiled plans to inject $2.1 billion into expanding its artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud infrastructure in Spain over the next two years.
Brad Smith, the Vice Chair and President of Microsoft, made the announcement via a post on the social media platform X.
This move follows closely on the heels of Microsoft’s announcement of a $3.45 billion investment earmarked for AI-focused initiatives in Germany, also spanning a two-year timeframe.
