Microsoft to Invest $2.1 bn in AI and Cloud Infrastructure in Spain

Software giant Microsoft has unveiled plans to inject $2.1 billion into expanding its artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud infrastructure in Spain over the next two years.

This move follows closely on the heels of Microsoft’s announcement of a $3.45 billion investment earmarked for AI-focused initiatives in Germany, also spanning a two-year timeframe.
