After Laconia, FairPoint opens new data center in Manchester

FairPoint has opened its new data center in Manchester, New Hampshire. FairPoint opened its first data center in Laconia, N.H. in 2014.

The data centers provide organizations with network connectivity and rack space in physically secure and reliable locations. These spaces can be used as primary and secondary data center sites for businesses.

FairPoint centers are controlled environments with the necessary power, cooling, connectivity and secure features like 24×7 video camera monitoring and keycard access.

FairPoint data center enables organizations to cost effectively scale and consolidate their IT systems to meet demand without incurring construction cost while maintaining control over management of both equipment and data.

FairPoint data center offers a variety of options for space, as small as half rack to cages with thousands of square feet of spaces.

Account managers from FairPoint work with customers to develop customized services to meet their unique needs.

The company will be targeting banks, hospitals, government agencies and other companies of all sizes from Fortune 100 multinational corporations to small start-ups which are discovering the benefits of offloading their data center needs to a trusted service provider.

FairPoint in a statement said there is no need to overbuild on-premises data center space. The data center can withstand adverse weather conditions and are designed with the safety, physical security and power backup features.

The data centers customers have access to 16,000 route-mile fiber network and can leverage carrier Ethernet services at speed upto 1Gpbs.
