Kyndryl and Nokia to advance data center networking solutions

kyndrylKyndryl, a leading IT infrastructure services provider, and Nokia have announced an expanded partnership to offer data center networking solutions for global enterprises.

By integrating Kyndryl’s expertise in hybrid cloud and data center management with Nokia’s data center networking infrastructure, the collaboration aims to address the rising demand for scalable, secure, and low-latency solutions as enterprises modernize their IT environments to support technologies like AI and high-performance computing.

The partnership includes Nokia’s Event-Driven Automation (EDA) technology, which will be integrated with Kyndryl Bridge, an AI-powered digital business platform. This combination enables full network automation and enhanced visibility across technology environments.

Paul Savill, Global Network and Edge Computing Practice Leader at Kyndryl, highlighted the need for secure, reliable networks to meet growing enterprise workloads, emphasizing how these solutions mitigate risks and accelerate transformation. Federico Guillén, President of Network Infrastructure at Nokia, noted the importance of robust data center networks in the AI era.

The enhanced portfolio, featuring Nokia’s IP routing, data center fabrics, quantum-safe networking, and Kyndryl’s consulting and network services, positions enterprises to scale seamlessly while addressing regulatory compliance and cybersecurity challenges.

This collaboration underscores the critical role of resilient IT infrastructure in driving innovation and enterprise success in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
