KDDI sets up global network operations center in Vietnam

KDDI, the parent company of TELEHOUSE , a data center provider, has opened its global network operations center (GNOC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The Ho Chi Minh City GNOC will perform international communication network operation and maintenance within the Southeast Asian region.

KDDI will be able to provide better global network service to neighboring Southeast Asian countries

“Our customers have an inherent need to access efficient connection points in Asia and we will look to continue to find ways to expand our connectivity across the Asian region,” said Fred Cannone, director, Sales and Marketing at TELEHOUSE.

KDDI is trying to tap Japanese corporations which are expanding to Vietnam.

In addition, KDDI will be growing the initial staff of 50.
