Kao Data opens 16 MW data centre in Slough, West London

Kao Data announced the availability of a 16 Megawatt (MW) data centre in Slough, West London.

Kao Data recently received investment of approximately £130 million from infrastructure business Infratil.

Kao Data’s Harlow campus will provide customers with an SLA-backed PUE of <1.2, even at partial loads. The new facility will use an ultra-efficient cooling system, be powered by 100 percent renewable energy.

The data centre facility is set to become NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Centre certified and OCP-Ready, serving the needs of high performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (AI) and enterprise customers.

“The launch of our Slough data centre offers data-intensive enterprises within the highly sought-after West London Availability Zone,” said Lee Myall, CEO, Kao Data.
