Enterprise networking vendor Juniper Networks today said it will co-create data center cloud and retail network infrastructure for athletic footwear brand NIKE.
NIKE will deploy Juniper Networks MetaFabric architecture to support current and future business goals and better customer experience. MetaFabric includes routing, switching, security, management and orchestration solutions.
MetaFabric will serve as the basis for virtualizing multiple NIKE data centers around the world, said Juniper Networks.
NIKE will benefit from improved application performance across the company as well as advanced network orchestration via automation and data analytics.
“NIKE is focused on elevating and accelerating innovation in our products, services and our digital ecosystem. This requires progressive and agile technology solutions that keep pace with our growth, which is what Juniper’s solutions offer,” said Anthony Watson, chief information officer, NIKE.
