CyrusOne to complete 120,000 square foot shell at Phoenix campus this year

CyrusOne today said the construction of the new 120,000 square foot shell at its Phoenix campus will be completed in late 2015.

Additionally, CyrusOne will complete another 36,000 square feet of colocation space, delivering up to 6 megawatts of power, in the third quarter of 2015 at Phoenix II. The Phoenix II facility will have 240,000 square feet of data center space and will deliver up to 24 megawatts of power.

“Based on demand and the popularity of CyrusOne Solutions, our product line tailored to solving unique customer requirements for large-scale deployments, we’ve had to expand rapidly in this market,” said John Hatem, senior vice president data center design and construction, CyrusOne.

The Phoenix campus is expected to provide up to 1,000,000 square feet of data center space on the campus, with over 100 megawatts of power, making it one of the largest and most energy-efficient facilities in the United States.

CyrusOne has 27 carrier-neutral data center facilities across the United States, Europe, and Asia. It serves nine of the Fortune 20 and 146 of the Fortune 1000 among its more than 675 customers.
