CtrlS Datacenters, Asia’s largest Rated-4 datacenter company, has announced plans to establish a new Datacenter Park on a 40-acre land parcel at Chandanvelly Industrial Park near Hyderabad, significantly boosting its regional capacity. The campus, with an IT load potential of over 600 MW, represents a major investment in Hyderabad’s datacenter landscape, which currently has a 52 MW operational capacity.

India’s datacenter industry is witnessing rapid growth, with capacity projected to exceed 1,300 MW by 2024 and 1,800 MW by 2026, fueled by digital transformation, AI, cloud adoption, and data localization needs.
The CtrlS Chandanvelly Datacenter Park will feature multiple ultra-high-density, AI-ready interconnected buildings with flexible configurations supporting up to 135 KW per rack and immersion cooling up to 300 KW per rack. Phase-1 includes 250 MW of sanctioned power capacity, with a dedicated Gas Insulated Substation expandable to 900 MW, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
Advanced cooling technologies, such as free air-cooling and immersion cooling, will help achieve Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) between 1.12 and 1.32. Solar module facades will regulate temperature, generate green power, and enhance aesthetics. Chairman Sridhar Pinnapureddy emphasized Telangana’s strategic importance and the company’s commitment to fostering Hyderabad’s digital ecosystem with this state-of-the-art facility.
CtrlS Datacenters, operating three facilities in Hyderabad, is expanding its nationwide presence, currently at 250 MW across tier-1 markets like Mumbai, Chennai, and Bangalore, and tier-2 markets like Patna and Lucknow.
Future expansions include GIFT City, Bhubaneswar, and Guwahati, alongside international forays into Southeast Asia and the Middle East, starting with Thailand. Since its inception in 2007, CtrlS has operated 15 datacenters across eight markets, driving renewable energy adoption for sustainability.
