CenturyLink is now offering Microsoft Office 365 and other productivity applications free of cost for small and mid-sized business customers.
The service is offered with most CenturyLink small and midsized business bundles, including Managed Office, a comprehensive information technology solution with ongoing end-to-end management of the customer’s voice and data networking and cloud-based business applications.
CenturyLink offers both small business and enterprise versions of Office 365 to best suit their needs. Options include basic to advanced desktop and online versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office applications.
The package consists of several collaboration services such as Outlook and Exchange Online. It comes with advanced security, support and control features. CenturyLink’s bundles also include automatic updates to the most current software releases in the productivity suite.
“CenturyLink has transformed from a traditional network communications provider to an integrated provider of end-to-end, fully managed information technology and cloud solutions for businesses of all sizes,” said Thuy Ha, director, business marketing, CenturyLink.
“Businesses already trust us for ultra-fast, fiber-based Internet and advanced voice service, and now CenturyLink is a one-stop-shop for the mission-critical productivity applications in Office 365,” Ha added.
According to Kirk Gregersen, general manager of Office commercial marketing at Microsoft, the partnership with CenturyLink will help large and small businesses to access the latest cloud-based collaboration, mobility and productivity services from Microsoft.
“CenturyLink’s customers can now add Office 365 to their voice and data services to help employees get things done virtually anywhere using their preferred device,” Gregersen added.
CenturyLink provides the service in a bundle, including one consolidated bill and one path to reach customer support for multiple services.
