CenturyLink launches managed hosting services in China

CenturyLink has launched its managed hosting services in China.

IT spending in China will reach $375 billion in 2015, according to Gartner.

CenturyLink offers hybrid cloud and IT infrastructure and services from 57 data centers worldwide, including five in Asia.

CenturyLink is offering managed hosting, colocation and cloud presence in China through a tie up with Neusoft, a IT solutions and services provider in China.

The company’s data center is located in the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone and operated by GDS, a provider of data center services in China.

Citic Telecom serves as the network provider.

Gery Messer, managing director, CenturyLink Asia Pacific, said: “CenturyLink makes it easy for businesses to host within China’s borders, offering access to the same highly secure managed services and consistent IT experience available across our global footprint.”
