VMware announced four-city tour focusing on New Delhi, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and Pune – in the initial phase – as part of the strategy to build its Cloud infrastructure and mobility business clients in India.
Last year, VMware covered 10 cities interacting with 1,500 CXOs across India to encourage them to look for buying its products.
VMware will focus on talking about how enterprise technologies such as mobility, end-user computing, virtualization, business continuity and disaster recovery can improve growth of businesses.
“With India being on fast track mode with Digital Transformation, we work towards helping the emerging businesses get the right technology to expand their business and reach the target customers,” Sundar Balasubramanian, senior director – (Commercial Sales and Partners), VMware, said.
Gartner says IT spending in India would grow at 9.2 percent to $87.1 billion in 2018 from an estimated spending of $79.7 billion in 2017.
