UST Global has announced the acquisition of FogPanel to boost cloud infrastructure management.
“With this acquisition, UST Global continues to build our presence in the cloud space which enables us to stay ahead of the target with our clients,” said Sajan Pillai, CEO of UST Global.
UST Global also plans to add more features to its cloud platform. The company also plans to open a delivery center in Coimbatore, India, Pillai added. The Coimbatore center will focus on cloud and DevOps.

As part of the acquisition, UST Global has acquired a team of 12 software developers, quality assurance representatives, and consultants having expertise in various cloud platforms including multi-vendor OpenStack’s public and private clouds, Cloudstack, AWS and Azure, UST Global said.
FogPanel is a comprehensive cloud service management and governance platform to orchestrate, manage, monitor and track cloud resources usage across hybrid cloud environments.
The billing-for-anything-as-a-service helps cut down time to launch a business through its services.
The acquisition allows UST Global to provide clients with control of IT resource usage and access to self-service automated cloud resources.
