Oracle to buy cloud-based CPQ solution provider BigMachines

Toyota Motor Corporation selected Oracle Cloud to analyze the usage trend of Ha:mo RIDE, a mobility sharing service.

Ha:mo is a transportation system that connects personal transportation modes and public transportation for local mobility.

Toyota decided to use Oracle Data Visualization Cloud Service to verify the data analysis and visualization. It needs to analyze usage trends to verify the effectiveness of a sharing service that responds to diverse needs. The verification project was launched in Toyota City in October 2012.

“Ha:mo’s mobility support will improve convenience, access and transportation, thus helping people move around and invigorating local communities,” said Makoto Tamura, General Manager, Ha:mo Business Planning Dept. ITS Planning Div., Connected Company, TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION. ”

Using a vehicle management system connecting users, cars and parking stations, Toyota currently offers the Ha:mo RIDE sharing service with Toyota Auto Body’s COMS.

Oracle Data Visualization Cloud Service helps organizations  to obtain actionable insights from scattered data quickly and saves time to obtain business value and accelerate implementation of measures based on analysis results.
