Sophos has launched Sophos Cloud Web Gateway which delivers protection for users, devices and data across multiple operating systems, regardless of their location.
The newly launched Sophos Cloud Web Gateway provides protection from the latest malware and phishing threats, granular policy management, advanced content filtering and big-data web traffic analytics.
The company said IT managers can pinpoint user and devices at risks through activity, behaviors and usage monitoring with advanced alerts, warnings and notifications.
Additionally, Granular policies can be set by device, by user or by group and tamper protection prevents the accidental or intentional changing of settings.
Sophos Cloud Web Gateway includes advanced web protection from threats, big-data and cloud powered reporting.
Company officials said Sophos Cloud Web Gateway is easy to deploy and simple to manage which has powerful policy control.
Sophos provide web security to IT managers with the introduction of the new Sophos Cloud Web Gateway and the Sophos Web Appliance.
The new version of Sophos Web Appliance was released with a new proxy engine with up to 7 times the scanning performance on the same hardware.
Sophos Web Appliance also provide enhanced user reporting including snap-shot and detailed reports.

Now, with the addition of a powerful web gateway Sophos Cloud provides a full suite of enterprise-grade security solutions designed for the mid-market,” said Bill Lucchini, senior vice president and general manager for Sophos Cloud Security business unit.
In January, IT security company Sophos announced its multi-pronged strategy to strengthen its presence in Indian mid market.
