SAP reported solid fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 performance, driven by strong cloud momentum and expanding profitability.

In Q4 2025, SAP’s current cloud backlog reached €21,052 million, up 16 percent, reflecting sustained demand for its cloud portfolio.
Total revenue of SAP rose 3 percent to €9,684 million. Cloud and software revenue increased 4 percent to €8,618 million, while cloud revenue grew at 19 percent to €5,610 million. Cloud ERP Suite revenue climbed 23 percent to €4,862 million.
Profitability also improved. Cloud gross profit reached €4,106 million, with cloud gross margins of 73.2 percent. Total gross profit rose to €7,044 million, with margins above 72 percent. Operating profit increased to €2,554 million, up 27 percent.
SAP said 2025 marked another year of strong progress in executing its strategic transformation, with cloud growth and profitability showing clear acceleration.
Total cloud backlog rose to €77,288 million, up 22 percent, reflecting strong long-term demand. Cloud revenue increased to €21,023 million, growing 23 percent. Cloud ERP Suite revenue climbed to €18,119 million, up 28 percent. Total revenue reached €36,800 million, reflecting growth of 8 percent.
Profitability and cash generation improved significantly. Operating profit increased to €10,419 million, supported by margin expansion, while free cash flow surged to €8,239 million, up 95 percent.
SAP also highlighted strong cloud gross profit growth, with cloud revenue and cloud gross profit rising by 26 percent and 29 percent respectively between 2024 and 2025. Overall, the results underscore SAP’s successful shift toward cloud-led growth, stronger earnings, and improved cash flow.
SAP highlights measurable productivity gains delivered by its Business AI portfolio across consulting, HR, finance, and procurement functions.
Siemens, one of its customers, used Joule for Consultants and reported savings of around 25 percent of weekly working time per consultant.
HR teams at save about 12 hours of work per employee each week through Joule with document grounding.
In finance operations, SAP Business AI helps processing vendors such as DeAgostini cut roughly 500 hours of manual work per month by automating invoice handling.
In procurement, Joule agents reduce manual effort by about 50 percent for Uniper when responding to procurement enquiries.
Overall, the results show SAP Business AI driving significant time savings, automation, and efficiency improvements across enterprise workflows.
