Sanovi launches Cloud continuity tool

Sanovi, a Business Continuity and IT recovery software company providing solutions for data centers and service providers across virtual and physical infrastructure, has launched its new and advanced cloud continuity tool at the IDC CIO Summit in Dubai.

It is recognized as a Business Continuity (BC) innovator by Gartner and Frost &Sullivan and others.

To conduct automated test drills on the fly for optimal disaster recovery preparedness, Sanovi has developed business continuity (BC) technology called application defined continuity intelligence or ADC intelligence.

ADC intelligence captures an application’s complete continuity profile and it also has ability to map the application’s profile to a specific cloud’s architecture and requirements.

Hardware and software operational outages causes more than 90 percent of IT downtime and so dependable disaster recovery (DR) plans are mandatory. Both in the cloud and on-premises, automated DR management tools are required to ensure critical business continuity because of the increase in complex and powerful applications and infrastructures.

“While disaster recovery plans are essential to ensure business continuity, they may do little good if they aren’t tested regularly, “said Lakshman Narayanaswami, co founder and VP products.

Sanovi’s cloud continuity can be a powerful weapon in defending a company against disaster.

Some of the customers of Sanovi are ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Thomas Cook, Indian Oil, ONGC, SBI Life, YES Bank, SAIL, TATA Power, Indian Post, NTPC, Reliance and many more.
