Ruckus adds 1000 customers for CloudManager for Xclaim

Ruckus Wireless said subscription-free cloud service CloudManager for Xclaim has moved from beta to full release and has already attracted 1,000 customers in less than 30 days.

The company said CloudManager service is a comprehensive, entry-level enterprise WiFi solution from Ruckus Wireless.

The Xclaim portfolio includes disruptively priced, cloud managed indoor and outdoor business-class WiFi access points (APs) and provides cost effective yet reliable and powerful WiFi solution.

The access points bridges the gap between poor performing and featureless consumer-grade products and more costly, high-end enterprise solutions.

Company officials said 50 percent of deployment of Xclaim is outside North America.

Additionally, customers already using CloudManger Xclaim can have automatic updates or manual updates to its new enhancements.

“With the Xclaim product line, we’ve eliminated the complexity that most people associate with enterprise WiFi while still keeping the key features that enterprises consistently need,” said Biju Nair, vice president and GM of the Xclaim product line at Ruckus.

Last month, Ruckus Wireless unveiled CloudManager for Xclaim, a subscription-free cloud service to manage its Xclaim family of indoor and outdoor business-class WiFi access points (APs).
