RP tech buys ZNet Technologies to enter cloud market

RP tech India, a division of Rashi Peripherals, announced the acquisition of Cloud Services Provider ZNet Technologies.

RP tech India will now offer ZNet’s Cloud services and solutions to SMB and enterprise customers in India. The financial details of the transaction was not disclosed.

The India public cloud services revenue is projected to grow at 37.5 percent in 2018 to $2.5 billion from $1.8 billion in 2017, according to Gartner.

Munesh Jadoun, director of ZNet Technologies said ZNet is well equipped to deliver multi-cloud services efficiently, with Certified Cloud Professionals and by using its own Cloud Services Automation and Billing Platform (RackNap).

RP tech India will make investment in ZNet Technologies for the purpose of enhancing R&D capabilities and upskilling technical manpower to support latest technologies like Cloud, IoT, AI etc.

ZNet said it will operate as an independent legal entity and existing brands of ZNet will continue to operate.

ZNet Technologies, founded in 2009, offers infrastructure services from cloud vendors like Microsoft, AWS, Alibaba, Google and its own Data Centre based offering to its customer base. The company in a statement said ZNetLive powers over 90,000 websites and applications globally.

Kapal Pansari, director at RP tech India, said: “RP tech India’s IT distribution network and financial backing, supplemented with ZNet’s Technical expertise at the back-end will help propel this partnership to become the No. 1 distributor of IT infrastructure including new age cloud services in the next 24 to 36 months.”
