Orange invests in European cloud interconnection business

Orange Digital Ventures has invested in InterCloud, a provider of fully managed software-defined cloud applications interconnection (SDCI) services.

The €22 million financing is led by Orange and supported by three new partners, namely Open CNP, UL Invest and Weber Invest, as well as its historical investors including CapHorn Invest, Ventech, Hi Inov, SNCF Digital Ventures, BPI France.

InterCloud provides end-to-end managed turnkey service, enabling companies to simplify their infrastructures, offering them greater visibility and control over their multi-cloud applications, the company claims.
