NetApp, a provider of intelligent data infrastructure, has unveiled an integrated solution enabling AWS Outposts customers to streamline hybrid cloud operations.
This collaboration integrates NetApp’s enterprise storage arrays with AWS Outposts, allowing users to manage external block data volumes directly through the AWS Management Console.
The solution combines NetApp’s advanced data storage capabilities with AWS Outposts’ cloud infrastructure, delivering a seamless hybrid cloud experience for on-premises and edge deployments. Key benefits include automated volume attachments, resilient infrastructure using NetApp tools like SnapMirror and Snapshot, and simplified management of critical workloads.
Additionally, NetApp’s Spot Ocean has introduced enhanced capabilities to optimize containerized and Kubernetes infrastructure, including fast-response auto-scaling, dynamic resource utilization, and improved cost-efficiency dashboards.
