Microsoft Gulf and Pacific Controls Cloud Services (PCCS) jointly unveiled their SaaS portal providing PCCS products and software based on Microsoft applications like Exchange email, SharePoint, Lync and CRM.
These cloud applications are available for monthly subscriptions as against the perpetual licensing model, said Microsoft.
This platform helps customers convert software licensing and infrastructure cost to operational expenses. The service is provided on-demand upon subscription, with local hosting, and local helpdesk support. The anytime, anywhere access platform with fast time-to-market, requires no software or server purchase or upgrade.
Dilip Rahulan, executive chairman, Pacific Controls, said: “PCCS helps enterprises save up to 60 percent cost of ownership, optimizing IT system, managing their infrastructure and business applications enabling IT staff to focus on projects that are core to their business and drive growth.”
The PCCS services are hosted at its Tier III Data Centre, located in Dubai, Techno Park.
Bruno Delamarre, Microsoft Gulf’s Regional Director Mid-Market and Partner Solutions said: “By using SaaS, businesses perform better leveraging cloud technology and advanced services.”
