Latisys helps National Tube Supply save 30% over previous provider

Latisys, a provider of hybrid cloud hosting and data center solutions, has signed partnership with National Tube Supply (NTS), a leading supplier of Carbon and Alloy round mechanical tubing in the U.S.

NTS selected Latisys to accommodate its growth strategy to include a new, high availability IT infrastructure solution underpinning its Epicor Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which supports NTS’ back office administrative functions and electronic data interchange (EDI)-related business expansion initiatives.

With this deal, NTS is migrating its’ IT infrastructure and new ERP system to Latisys’ enterprise-grade Cloud-enabled Systems Infrastructure (CESI). Latisys, in collaboration with Epicor, will also design a flexible and hybrid IT infrastructure solution that combines managed hosting with NTS’ private cloud and Latisys’ collocation.

Latisys’ services are characterized by multi-site redundancy, managed backup and secure disaster recovery including cloud-based DR solutions, the company said.

Latisys has helped NTS save approximately 30 percent when compared to their previous provider, NTS said.  The company plans to expand this relationship to leverage Latisys’ flexible managed IT infrastructure in the future to support its growth.

“As a high-growth enterprise, National Tube Supply is very cognizant of the impact that IT infrastructure performance has on customer satisfaction and business growth,” said Pete Stevenson, CEO of Latisys.

“Their progressive approach is quickly moving them to a more cost-effective and flexible OpEx model while also making a positive impact on customer loyalty, employee satisfaction, and brand reputation,” Stevenson added.
