Ixia enhances NTO to deliver improved hybrid cloud visibility

Ixia has shipped new software features for its Net Tool Optimizer (NTO) visibility platform. The NTO software enables seamless visibility into hybrid cloud deployments which allows unified view of the entire network.

The company said new update allows customer to reduce risk of security gaps and application issues from blind spots in their virtual or physical network.

The customer will have unified visibility for virtual and physical networks under a single management interface and intelligent routing of application traffic.

Additionally, customer will experience high speed visibility with the 4x40Gbps Advanced Feature Module (AFM) hardware.

According to Ixia, its intuitive graphical user interface, patented dynamic filtering technology and first-to-market virtual tap have combined to create unmatched visibility into hybrid cloud deployments.

In addition, users can choose consumer applications, enterprise applications and user location to gain visibility.

User can double the interconnects available on their visibility platform with double-your-ports function which enables them to achieve a significant improvement in return on investment while minimizing rack space consumption.

Ixia has also announced a new advanced 160Gbps feature module with 4X40Gbps interfaces which supports all existing packet grooming features such as de-duplication, slicing, stripping and tunnel termination.
