Intel Security, Spirent among others to join Wind River Titanium Cloud ecosystem

Wind River, which delivers software for intelligent connected systems, has added eight new members to its Wind River Titanium Cloud ecosystem.

Titanium Cloud is the Wind River ecosystem of partners offering interoperable products and technologies for building out NFV (Network Function Virtualization) on next generation networks.

The latest members in Wind River Titanium Cloud ecosystem are Check Point Software Technologies, ConteXtream, Cyan, Intel Security, Ixia, Qosmos and Spirent. They join the existing partners: Artesyn, ASTRI, Brocade, GENBAND, HP, Kontron, Metaswitch, Nakina and Overture.

As the titanium Cloud Program expands, current members also continue to introduce new NFV solutions on the Wind River Titanium Server NFV infrastructure platform.

“In order to accelerate their NFV deployment and reduce schedule risks, service providers are looking for validated, market ready end to end NFV solutions. Our ecosystem is expanding rapidly and with the addition of new members we continue to deliver the availability of optimized, interoperable solutions for service providers and telecom equipment manufacturers,” said Charlie Ashton, senior director of business development for networking solutions at Wind River.

Through the Titanium Cloud ecosystem, Wind River collaborates with hardware and software companies to ensure the availability of interoperable standard products optimized for deployment with Titanium server.

Wind River partners in the Titanium Cloud ecosystem fall into four categories: providers of operations support systems and business support systems (OSS/BSS), supplier of NFV orchestration solutions, companies who deliver virtual network functions and providers of standard server platform.

Titanium Cloud enables telecom service providers to achieve their critical NFV business imperatives, reducing network operating costs while accelerating the introduction of new, high value services.
