HP As-a-Service Solution for the SAP HANA, which offers real-time insight while lowering costs, is now available worldwide.
Introduced 12 months ago, the first-to-market solution includes the software license for SAP HANA along with hardware and ongoing management services into a complete solution provided in a cost-effective, as-a-service model, the company said.
In a statement HP said that they would provide an end-to-end service by integrating the HP Appliance Portfolio, Infrastructure and Application Management Services, Industry and Strategic Services for SAP HANA, and HP Helion Cloud and Security Services for SAP HANA into a single SAP-certified architecture, value proposition and commercial agreement.
The solution allows SAP HANA to be consumed on a subscription basis, as milestone payments, or as “bring your own license,” helping clients to unlock the value from already-purchased SAP HANA licenses.
Clients such as Origin Energy, Avon Cycles and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories have utilized the HP As-a-Service Solution for SAP HANA to harness the benefits of in-memory computing and analytics with greater speed and agility while reducing risk and significantly lowering upfront costs—all via a simple-to-understand, monthly subscription fee.
