HP India adds managed infrastructure-as-a-service Cloud solution

Enterprise IT vendor HP India on Wednesday announced HP Helion Managed Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) Lean, a managed infrastructure-as-a-service solution.

HP is offering a pilot trial service for customers who want to certify an application to run in the cloud with the full support of the HP team.

The company said managed infrastructure-as-a-service solution enables higher-quality service delivery and workload performance at a significantly lower cost. HP India did not share the cost of the new service.

HP said the new offering supports lighter workloads for mid-sized and enterprise-level businesses such as application development and test environments and workplace collaboration solutions, while also enabling quick onboarding times and the ability to add features on demand.

In addition, HP Helion Managed VPC Lean offers benefits of a managed VPC, such as a regionalized cloud for data sovereignty, low latency, compliance, high availability, security and continuity options, for a lower upfront investment.

Marshal Correia, vice president & general manager, Enterprise Services, HP India, said: “The new HP Helion Managed VPC Lean now delivers a lower-priced alternative designed to enable clients to further optimize cloud workloads in the enterprise —while still providing superior, enterprise-class service and performance.”
