Attitude, a hotel chain in Mauritius, has deployed Infor CloudSuite Hospitality and Infor SunSystems to standardize operations and improve customer experience.
Infor channel partner OBI assisted during the implementation process. Pascal Carle Tellechea, director of OBI was instrumental in the implementation.
Attitude, by moving to the private cloud across nine properties, has reduced the time and cost of operations and improved access to customer and property data with the business intelligence capabilities within Infor SunSystems.
Infor CloudSuite Hospitality has supported Attitude to accelerate business processes, ranging from check in procedures using mobile technology, to daily data back-ups.
The hotel chain faced challenges because each hotel property had its own server with duplicated software and processes, as well as a lack of standards across the Group.
“By moving to a centrally managed cloud system, we have standardized operations which improved productivity, reduced the cost of operation and built a database that can be explored for new business as we leverage business intelligence,” said Sanjay Ramlochund, group IT Manager, Attitude Hotels.
Wolfgang Emperger, vice president, Infor Hospitality, EMEA, said standardizing operations whilst opening up data for business intelligence exploration is a fast track to dramatically improving the customer experience.
Earlier Infor said British retail group Arcadia is upgrading to its CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management suite.
Infor earlier said Marine Harvest, a producer of farmed salmon, has invested in Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage with its core of Infor M3 in the cloud.
Following a pilot in Scotland, Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage will be deployed globally to facilitate a common platform and standardized processes which will represent a foundation for the company’s digitalization strategy.
