Fujitsu has announced new service offerings for Oracle E-Business Suite, which provide companies with the option of an on-premise, cloud-based or hybrid deployment.
Fujitsu will deliver Oracle E-Business Suite by deploying and supporting the applications on the optimized and purpose-built FAST (Fujitsu Accelerated Solution Templates) for Oracle ERP fueled by the Fujitsu M10 running Oracle Solaris.
The company said it will provide an affordable and flexible model for an Oracle E-Business Suite deployment that promotes the use of and connection to the Oracle Cloud Platform and Application services, including: Oracle BI Cloud, Oracle HCM Cloud, and Oracle ERP Cloud.
The model is ideal for manufacturing enterprises that have not adopted or are not able to deploy a full cloud strategy for their business-critical ERP applications.
The company will deliver end-to-end Oracle E-Business Suite solutions, including application implementation, development, database migration and systems integration.
CIOs and IT departments can manage implementation costs, reduce total time of ERP deployment and improve total cost of ownership through FAST for Oracle ERP fueled by the Fujitsu M10.
This apart, Fujitsu will also leverage Fujitsu M10 SPARC servers, with the Oracle Solaris operating system, as an innovative, collaborative platform to deliver the Oracle database and application solution.
Fujitsu M10 servers leverage innovative technologies from Fujitsu supercomputers to provide the industry with high scalability and performance.
“Fujitsu works hand-in-hand with Oracle to deliver enhanced flexibility in our Oracle E-Business Suite service offerings to enterprises that are unable to make a full commitment to the cloud now,” said Alex Attal, executive vice president of Business Application Services at Fujitsu America, Inc.
In April, Fujitsu and Microsoft joined hands to work together to transform manufacturing processes through Internet of Things (IoT) innovations.
