European Schools, a community of students and faculty across Europe, has deployed the SAP ERP powered by SAP HANA application and the SAP Simple Finance solution.
European Schools are streamlining processes for better accountability while ensuring all European Schools are aligned with one another and have standardized and secure financial processes. Today there are 14 European Schools in seven countries with roughly 25,000 students.
SAP ERP means that the educational community replaced an old IT solution with modern software to improve consolidation, reports and transparency as well as streamline complex accounting, controlling and procurement business processes. The new software ensured that European Schools would be compliant with new and existing financial regulations.
The deployment of cloud would assist the management to reduce logistics and administrative efforts. Ninety-seven of the world’s top 100 universities, as ranked by the Times Higher Education annual survey, run SAP software.
