Dell unveils Identity and Access Management-as-a-service

At Dell World 2014, Dell has announced Identity and Access Management-as-a-service (IAMaaS) delivered for companies that prefer to outsource rather than deploy and manage an on-premise, enterprise-grade IAM solution.

The IAMaaS service includes not only access control but also provisioning and governance, making all three tenets of IAM available in SaaS format to companies.

Dell has also announced product integrations across Dell’s comprehensive Security portfolio delivering effective, scalable services and solutions that uniquely meet both immediate and future threat-protection needs, Dell said.

The new  Dell Change Auditor for Cloud Storage with Dell Data Protection | Cloud Edition (DDP|CE), offers real-time protection, auditing and altering of data uploaded, modified and downloaded from popular cloud storage sites – with zero impact to end users.

Another innovation, Dell’s new password reset feature, soon to be included on all Dell Commercial Client systems, allows end users to reset their own PC password without having to contact IT.

Also, in an industry first achievement, Dell demonstrated 120 Gbps of deep packet inspection (DPI) next-generation firewall (NGFW) architecture for carriers and ISPs.
