Citrix to announce disappointing financial result

Citrix Systems will announce disappointing financial result for the third quarter of fiscal year 2013 ended September 30, 2013.

Revenue of Citrix Systems for the quarter is expected to be in the range of $710 million to $712 million, below the company’s guidance of $730 million to $740 million.

Net income for the third quarter of fiscal year 2013 per diluted share is expected to be in the range of $0.39 to $0.40 compared to guidance of $0.41 to $0.42 per diluted share.

“While we are disappointed that we fell short of our expectations this quarter, we remain confident in our strategy and markets,” said Mark Templeton, president and CEO, Citrix. “Our focus remains steadfast on helping our customers leverage cloud services and business mobility to improve the security and agility of their IT infrastructure. We will provide more color at our regularly scheduled conference call on October 23.”
