Cisco Live 2014: Enterprise IT vendor Cisco today announced updated cloud service offerings and new partners.
As per today’s announcement, Dimension Data and Sungard Availability Services will join Telstra as Cisco Intercloud partners — cloud providers that will invest with Cisco to align their public cloud infrastructure to the Cisco Cloud architecture and deliver Cisco Cloud services to customers and resellers.
VCE and NetApp will collaborate with Cisco to build Intercloud-ready integrated infrastructure solutions.
Johnson Controls will enable Cisco Cloud partners and customers to add computing capacity via modular data center solutions.
Accenture has licensed Cisco Intelligent Automation for Cloud software to expand the cloud management and orchestration capabilities of the Accenture Cloud Platform.
Cisco will initially package Cisco Intercloud Fabric, Cisco UCS Director and Dimension Data’s public IaaS into two different hybrid cloud solutions. The two hybrid cloud solutions are expected to be available globally from Cisco within 90 days, with additional solutions available in the coming months.
Cisco and Dimension Data will also collaborate to accelerate the availability of Cisco Cloud services for smaller service providers across emerging markets.
This initiative will build on Dimension Data’s proven OneCloud Partner Programme to deliver the technology platform, channel enablement and operational services required to accelerate time to market and revenue opportunities for service providers.
