AWS stops cloud support to Israeli surveillance vendor NSO

Amazon Web Services (AWS), the Cloud business of Amazon.com, has shut down infrastructure and accounts linked to Israeli surveillance vendor NSO Group, U.S. media group Vice reported on Monday.
AWS event for CIOsMeanwhile, Israel’s Defense Ministry said that the export of cyber products, like spyware sold by NSO Group, was for lawful use and with the sole purpose of fighting crime and countering terrorism.
