AT&T to extend AT&T NetBond to Amazon Web Services

AT&T will extend AT&T NetBond to Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Customers will have the ability to scale their network at the same rate as their enterprise-class applications running on the AWS Cloud.

AT&T NetBond enables customers to access business applications and information that are stored in AWS, bypassing the public Internet and the security risks associated with it.

This apart, AT&T NetBond improves performance by as much as 50 percent and can surpass the best experience on the Internet by as much as three times.

Melanie Posey, research vice president at IDC, said: “This pairing of AT&T’s VPN with AWS’s leading cloud platform will likely serve as a game changer for enterprises, prompting accelerated adoption of cloud services.”

Industries such as health care, manufacturing, retail and government are choosing AT&T NetBond as their on-ramp to cloud.
