Infotech Lead America: Genband, a developer of multimedia and cloud communications solutions, announced that Arrow Electronics has selected Genband NUViA as its cloud offering within its Arrow S3 business. The business provides unified communications, voice and data technology and network security.
Arrow S3 will be able to offer HD voice, video, multimedia messaging, mobility, conferencing, Web collaboration, desktop clients, and fixed mobile convergence as a service for small, medium and large enterprise customers using Genband’s secure multimedia communications cloud services. Arrow S3 will market the Genband cloud service under the SynapS3 ucCLOUD brand.
In addition to marketing NUViA under the SynapS3 ucCLOUD brand, Arrow S3 will also offer Genband’s comprehensive suite of on-premises enterprise solutions, which include the EXPERiUS Application Server and QUANTiX SBC.
The NUViA Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) was launched in earlier this year to offer HD voice, video, multimedia messaging, mobility, conferencing, Web collaboration, desktop clients, and fixed and mobile convergence. The NUViA RCS offering enables wireless operators to quickly take to market extensive multimedia communications services.
Genband NUViA is powered by Genband EXPERiUS solutions to assist channel partners in accelerating the commercial delivery of multimedia communications applications while keeping upfront capital expenses minimal. Arrow S3 can fully customize and differentiate its branded services with all of the advantages of cloud-based services that NUViA offers, such as a pay-as-you-grow business model and a flexible service delivery model.
Arrow S3 is a Platinum Partner in Genband’s recently fortified Partner Advantage Program. The program provides enterprise resellers advanced training, co-op marketing funds, sales support and additional benefits.
Earlier this year Genband announced a unique alliance with Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) to offer users a solution that delivers voice, data, video communications and collaboration capabilities on Samsung SAFE devices to fully mobile-enable the enterprise market.
