Adobe clocks 25% revenue growth to $2 billion in Q4

Adobe creative Cloud for professionalsAdobe announced revenue of $2.01 billion (+25 percent) in its fourth quarter ended Dec. 1, 2017 and $7.30 billion (+25 percent) in fiscal year.

Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen said: “Our strong business momentum is driven by the market-leading solutions we provide to empower people to create and businesses to digitally transform.”

Adobe said Digital Media segment revenue reached $1.39 billion. Adobe’s Creative Cloud revenue was $1.16 billion. Adobe’s Document Cloud revenue was $235 million. Adobe Experience Cloud achieved 18 percent growth in revenue to $550 million.

Adobe posted operating income growth of 37 percent, while net income grew 26 percent year-over-year.

Adobe said Digital Media segment revenue was $5.01 billion, with Creative and Document Cloud achieving record annual revenue of $4.17 billion and $837 million, respectively.

Adobe Experience Cloud achieved record annual revenue of $2.03 billion, representing 24 percent year-over-year growth.

Adobe’s operating income grew 45 percent and net income grew 45 percent.
