Daimler Financial Services, the financial and mobility services division of automobile major Daimler, today announced the appointment of Udo Neumann as global chief information officer (CIO).
Udo Neumann is responsible for the company’s information technology strategy. He will remain located in the U.S. to leverage developments in the technology and startup sectors and build and expand global digital transformation strategy.
Daimler Financial Services aims to bring the digital solutions to market that meet the evolving needs of its business, our customers and dealers.
Udo Neumann, who has more than 18 years of experience in the financial services and automotive sectors, designed and built cost-effective, high-performing technology solutions that improved the company’s operations and supported global business strategies.
Most recently, Udo Neumann managed a enterprise-wide initiative in the U.S. and Canada that delivered an innovative technology solution to replace the company’s core contract management systems and establish the foundation for future digital expansion.
Udo Neumann also developed an online banking system for Mercedes-Benz Bank in Germany, as well as integrated the company’s financial services and sales IT organizations to build synergies and improve efficiency.
