Meta expands AI infrastructure deployment with AWS Graviton chips
Meta announced an agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deploy AWS Graviton processors at scale to support its next-generation AI workloads. The deployment begins with tens of millions of Graviton cores and is designed to scale as Meta’s AI capabilities grow. The infrastructure will support CPU-intensive agentic AI workloads, including real-time reasoning, code generation, and orchestration of multi-step tasks. The deployment builds on Meta’s long-standing relationship with AWS and its use of Amazon Bedrock for AI services. This large-scale infrastructure deployment enables Meta to handle billions of interactions while supporting complex AI workflows across its platforms.
SAP and S3NS deploy sovereign cloud infrastructure for Thales
SAP, in collaboration with S3NS, announced deployment of a trusted cloud environment for Thales to modernize its enterprise systems. Thales is adopting SAP’s cloud-based ERP platform within the S3NS “PREMI3NS” trusted cloud to unify core business processes including finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement. The deployment is designed to meet strict data sovereignty, security, and compliance requirements under France’s SecNumCloud framework. This initiative supports Thales’ large-scale digital transformation by enabling secure migration of critical workloads to the cloud. The deployment reflects increasing enterprise adoption of sovereign cloud solutions to balance innovation with regulatory and data protection requirements.
