General Dynamics Information Technology Partners with Google Public Sector

GDIT expanded its collaboration with Google Public Sector to develop mission-AI and cloud solutions for U.S. defense, intelligence and civilian agencies. The strategy emphasises bringing AI and cloud capabilities to “the tactical edge” and modernising citizen services with generative and conversational AI technologies. GDIT and Google will co-invest in secure solutions leveraging Google Distributed Cloud to operate in disconnected or challenged environments. The innovation focus is on edge-AI, ruggedised “cloud-in-a-box” deployments, and scaling service desk operations, where a recent effort achieved US$ 12 million savings and 40 percent reduction in call volume. The collaboration emphasises customer-centric benefits: faster decision-making, improved security, cost-savings and enhanced mission readiness.

EdgeNet selects Rafay Systems

EdgeNet, a Mexico-based regional cloud services provider with 30 edge data centres, selected Rafay Systems to power its next-generation GPU cloud (“Mayia Cloud”) across Latin America. The data points highlight that EdgeNet aims to democratise access to on-demand GPU-powered AI and cloud services, while Rafay brings its GPU PaaS orchestration, multi-tenant governance, automation, and hybrid infrastructure support. The strategy is to enable secure self-service AI and cloud-native environments closer to customers, with innovation in unified management across containers, VMs, bare-metal and notebooks. Customer focus emphasises low-latency, data residency, local sovereign infrastructure and enterprise developer experience. Benefits include simplified AI workload deployment, operational control for cloud operators, and faster time-to-market for AI-enabled services.

Active Security partners with ZeroTier

Active Security, a firm specialising in C5ISR and cyber‐physical solutions, entered into a partnership with ZeroTier, a software-defined networking and cybersecurity platform provider. The technology focus is on delivering software-defined networks (SDN) with 256-bit end-to-end encryption, universal connectivity across cellular, satellite and fibre networks, and real-time streaming of HD video from operational technology sensors. The strategy targets defence, enterprise and critical infrastructure customers who require secure, low-latency, globally distributed networking. Innovation centres on replacing legacy VPNs/hardware with agile, scalable SDN architectures. The customer benefit is rapid deployment of secure, high-performance connectivity in distributed environments, allowing clients to stream real-time video and sensor data reliably across multiple network types.

Saddle Creek Logistics Services deploys Robust.AI

Saddle Creek deployed Robust.AI’s Carter collaborative autonomous mobile robot (AMR) in its Charlotte warehouse to enhance order-fulfilment operations for a beauty-client use case. The data shows multiple improvements: reduced walking time for manual tote delivery, increased tote capacity per trip, balanced human-robot workload, reduced congestion and faster throughput. The strategy enables flexible automation without major fixed-infrastructure investment; innovation resides in software-defined robotic functions (picking, transport, sorting) and human-robot collaboration. The customer focus is on warehouse operations delivering faster, safer, worker-friendly workflows. Benefits include improved productivity, lower labour burden, more agile fulfilment, and scalable automation that augments rather than replaces human workers.
