Lenovo today announced discounts on ThinkServer configurations as part of offering enhancements to their Windows Server 2003 End-of-Support Program in North America.
As per the new initiative, Lenovo is providing resellers with tools to help customers migrate from their Windows Server 2003 environment, to the new System x and ThinkServer platforms running the latest Windows Server 2012 R2 operating platform.

The Lenovo Windows Server 2003 End-of-Support Program features discounts on ThinkServer configurations, incremental rebates on many TopSeller configurations and now System x configurations.
In addition, Lenovo will offer special financing through Lenovo Financial Services with no payments for up to 90 days, and demo units for evaluation.
Resellers will also have access to technical whitepapers to aid migration of the OS and applications, as well as sales tools, and reseller customizable customer collateral – providing everything needed to enable partners to offer services and an exceptional experience for their customers.

Combined with Lenovo’s robust suite of training, tools, marketing, and financing, these offerings will greatly benefit our collective end users,” said Chris Frey, vice president, Lenovo North America Commercial and Channel business.
The program includes offers on ThinkServer System Building Blocks and System x configurations with Windows Server 2012 R2 licenses, special financing, sales and co-marketing tools, training, technical information and assistance that can be utilized by Lenovo partners to develop and deliver migration services personalized for their customers.
