Cisco has introduced its Cisco 360 Partner Program, marking a major update to its channel partner ecosystem for the first time in almost three decades.

This initiative, developed in collaboration with channel partners and customers, is designed to align closely with evolving business needs in a competitive market, focusing on modernizing infrastructure, supporting AI capabilities, and enhancing security.
The Cisco 360 Partner Program will transition in February 2026. The networking equipment supplier for enterprises and SMBs will roll out new elements in phases to keep partners and distributors informed and supported throughout the process. Current levels, roles, and lifecycle practice investments will be recognized until the program is fully implemented, ensuring partner investments are protected.
“This program allows us to recognize and reward successful partners and better address the evolving needs of our customers,” Elisabeth De Dobbeleer, Senior Vice President, Cisco Partner Program, said. “Our goal is to transform partner success, elevate Cisco partners, and upgrade the partner experience to align with Cisco’s strategic vision.”
The program aims to transform how Cisco and its partners deliver value by emphasizing customer needs and growth, instead of focusing purely on transactions. The Cisco 360 Partner Program seeks to raise partner visibility, streamline processes, and introduce new methods for planning and tracking performance.
Cisco will invest $80 million in skill development for partners, including $60 million for access to Cisco U. subscriptions and certifications. Another $20 million will fund quarterly training events, emphasizing AI, security, and networking.
The program redefines partner value through a framework that rewards diverse ways of delivering customer value. It includes benefits like the Cisco Partner Incentive, recognizing partners who support lifecycle services, expand customer engagement, and invest in skills.
Cisco will introduce two new designations — Cisco Partner and Cisco Preferred Partner. Partners can earn these for each portfolio, such as Security or Networking, helping them gain recognition as experts in specific areas.
Cisco plans to evolve traditional specializations into Solution-Based and eventually next-generation specializations for Preferred Partners, including the new AI-Ready Infrastructure Solution Specialization to support partners in AI infrastructure expertise.
The 15-month transition period will conclude in February 2026, allowing Cisco partners to prepare and optimize their business within the new Cisco 360 Partner Program.
