Canalys Channel partner awards 2017Canalys recently announced Channel partner awards at Canalys Channels Forum Asia Pacific 2017 held in Perth, Australia.

Canalys Senior Analyst Jordan de Leon said: “This year’s APAC award winners really highlight the diversity of partners across the region and how they are innovating to provide unique solutions to meet the ever-growing expectations of their customers.”

The entire event was managed using the Canalys Event App. The app is now available for vendors and channel partners to use at their own partner events.

2017 Revenue Growth Partner

Kawloon Networks System from Malaysia has received the 2017 Revenue Growth Partner of the Year award.

Chuan Loon Foo, director, Kawloon Networks System, said: In a challenging Malaysian market, Kawloon Networks System grew revenue and profit 38 percent and 88 percent respectively. We are focused on delivering data center and networking solutions to our enterprise customers.

2017 Cloud Software Partner

Embee from India has received the 2017 Cloud Software Partner of the Year award.

ASI Solutions from Australia has received the 2017 Cloud and Managed Services Partner of the Year award.

It has transformed from product resell to move to build new business models as-a-service, managed services and IT consulting. 2017 Innovation and Transformation Partner

ACPL from India has received the 2017 Innovation and Transformation Partner of the Year award.

2017 Infrastructure Growth Partner

SMS Global from Philippines has received the 2017 Infrastructure Growth Partner of the Year award.

Anthony Christian Angeles, president, SMS Global Technologies, said: “Infrastructure accounts for 50 percent of our business and is growing 20 percent year on year. This is a significant achievement in the Filipino market, which does not yet have much cloud. SMS Global Technologies has developed data center solutions that fit the floor space available, meaning that project management costs have reduced by 50 percent.”

2017 Overall Canalys Partner

FujiSoft from Japan has received the 2017 Overall Canalys Partner of the Year award.

Award process

The Candefero Channel Partner of the Year awards recognizes leading channel partners for their performance in particular areas. Nominations can be made by channel partner, including vendors, distributors and customers.

Revenue Growth

Channel Partners need to demonstrate strong organic revenue growth and be able to demonstrate plans for continued growth in 2016.

Cloud: Software

Channel Partners will need to show outstanding performance and proven success in selling cloud software.

Innovation and transformation

Channel Partners will be judged on how their organization has capitalized on new technology to deliver innovative solutions.

Cloud: Managed services

Channel Partners will be judged on how much business is derived from cloud and they must demonstrate the profitability of this business.

Infrastructure growth

Channel Partners will be judged on their revenue growth in delivering IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, data center and security products.
