Wipro has posted IT services revenue of $8.06 billion (+4.6 percent) with IT services margin of 15.8 percent in fiscal 2018. Net income of Wipro fell 5.7 percent to Rs 80.1 billion or $1.2 billion.
Wipro clocked IT services revenue of $2.062 billion (+5.5 percent) in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2018 with IT services margin of 14.4 percent. Net income for the fourth quarter was Rs 18.0 billion or $277 million.
“Our investments in digital and our efforts in client mining are paying off well. Our strong order bookings in the last two quarters provide us the right foundation to grow as we progress through the year,” Wipro CEO Abidali Z Neemuchwala said.
The number of clients contributing revenues over $75 million increased from 17 to 20 during the quarter.
Wipro expects revenue from IT services business will be $2.015 billion to $2.065 billion for the quarter ending June 30, 2018.
Wipro today said it will revise the revenue outlook for the quarter based on the actual date of completion of the divestment of hosted data center services business to Ensono for $405 million.
