The number of employees at Wipro has decreased to 182,886 in March quarter of 2020 as compared with 187,318 in December quarter of 2019, 181,453 in September quarter and 174,850 in June quarter.
Wipro reported IT Services revenue of $8.256 billion (+1.7 percent) in fiscal 2020. Wipro’s IT Services revenue dropped 1 percent quarter-on-quarter to $2.073 billion during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2020.
Wipro said the IT Services revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 2020 were negatively impacted by COVID-19 by approximately $14-$16 million, representing 0.7 percent-0.8 percent of revenues.
Wipro did not provide revenue guidance for the quarter ending June 30, 2020 due to the uncertainty around COVID-19 pandemic.
