UST to create 3,500-6,000 job opportunities in new office in Pune

UST, a leading technology and digital transformation solutions company, has opened its new office in Pune, Maharashtra.

This expansion is expected to generate approximately 3,500-6,000 job opportunities over the next three to five years in Pune. Located in Balewadi’s EQ Smartworks establishment, the new facility spans over 80,000 sq. ft, accommodating more than 1,000 seats and complementing the existing facility at Sai Radhe Complex in Pune.

The new Pune office was inaugurated by Krishna Sudheendra, Chief Executive Officer of UST, along with key executives including Alexander Varghese, Chief Operating Officer; Sunil Balakrishnan, Chief Values Officer; Ramprasad Santhanagopalan, President of UST Product Engineering and Pune Center Head; Kishore Krishna, Vice President & Global Head Talent Acquisition; Smitha Suryaprakash, Vice President of Design & Experience Practice; Sheffi Anwar, General Manager; and Hari Krishnan Mohankumar, Senior Director of Workplace Management & Operations, among other senior leaders and associates.

With over 2,000 employees, UST’s Pune Center is a hub for driving innovation and accelerating growth through expertise in data science, data engineering, design, product engineering, and digital applications. The center serves leading global enterprises across industries such as fintech, healthcare & life sciences, retail & e-commerce, manufacturing, and automotive, playing a pivotal role in shaping digital transformation for UST’s global clientele.

Over the next three years, UST is committed to increasing its seating capacity and headcount across its India offices. The company aims to expand its operations in alignment with business demands and emerging opportunities in digital transformation and AI.

Last year, UST opened a second office in Bengaluru and launched a Design Experience Centre. It also laid the foundation for its second-owned campus in Kochi, Kerala, with plans to create 3,000 jobs over five years. In 2023, UST inaugurated an office at the International Tech Park in Hyderabad for research and development in emerging technologies.

Founded in 1999 and headquartered in California, US, UST has significantly expanded its operations across India. With its India headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram, the company operates offices in key locations including Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, Kochi, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad, and Hosur, employing over 20,000 professionals in the country.
